Enriched Air Nitrox Diver Course

The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Diver Course teaches you how to dive safely with blends of up to 40% Oxygen in your tank.  Increasing the Oxygen percentage in your tank reduces the amount of Nitrogen that you absorb at depth.

So you can either

  • stay deeper for longer
  • reduce your surface interval times
  • or reduce your Nitrogen load for a safer more conservative dive

It’s easy – but important!

You need to understand the benefits and hazards of using different gas blends
You’ll learn how to analyse your tank, and how to set your dive computer for the blend that you are using. Then you can find your maximum depth and your increased no-deco limits.

The Enriched Air Nitrox Course doesn’t require any dives, so it can be completed in one day. The course has a manual or e-learning, and you will complete an exam and knowledge review at the end. We teach you about:

  • dive planning
  • the risks and benefits of using Nitrox
  • how to analyse the mixture in your tank
  • how to set your dive computer
  • where to find you maximum operating depth, and why it’s important

The simple answer is anyone who dives and is comfortable in the water.
